Festival Name
Kinnect is a mix of Kind and Connect.
We changed the name from Naked In The Trees in July 2026 after Meta removed our main account @thenaked.world. The original name was beautiful but it removed our ability to advertise online.
Entrance
- R18
- Bring ID and a digital or printed ticket.
- Absolutely NO GLASS allowed on site. The festival is being held on an equestrian training ground. Anyone found with a glass bottle will be immediately escorted off site with no reentry and no exceptions. Apologies for the harsh nature of this policy but it's incredibly important.
- All attendees must read the festival rules and etiquette before arrival at www.kinnectfestival.co.nz/rules
Gate times:
- Friday: 2pm — 10pm
- Saturday: 10am — 2pm
- Sunday: Exit only
- Monday: Exit only
By 8pm on Monday, all guests must be off site.
House Keeping

- Leave no trace — please take all rubbish and belongings with you when you leave.
- No photos or videos within the festival ground. This is a private festival where guests should feel relaxed and free. We will have professional photographers on site that follow strict consent guidelines.
Camping Options
GENERAL CAMPING — all campsites have incredible views, however some are a shorter walk to The Village and The Playground than others. We will announce all campsite options in late 2026.

VEHICLE CAMPING (i.e. camping by your car or in a van) tickets will be announced along with parking passes, in late 2026. Priority will be given to existing ticket holders.

GLAMPING is now in The Village. Glampers will be albe to park in the Artist Camp just above and their belongings trailered down into The Village – the heart of the festival.

ARTIST CAMPING is in the same locaation as 2025 & 2026 offering stunning views over the festival.
Tickets
1. How do I get my ticket?
You will receive your ticket(s) via email from Humanitix. Tickets are not available from any other ticketing site.
2. What payment options do I have?
Through Humanitix we offer Afterpay.
3. I can't find my tickets anymore/ I can't access my email anymore!
Please send us your full name and the email you used to book the ticket(s) to hello@kinnectwide.com
4.Is it possible to get tickets after the festival is sold out?
Yes, if you join the wait list via the event page on Humanitix. Tickets will become available if and when others request a refund.
5. Is it possible to refund tickets?
Once the festival is sold out, yes, up until 14 days prior to the event.
6. How can I change the name on a ticket?
You can edit the name associated with a ticket through the Humanitix site.
7. Can I park a van in the Car Park?
If you plan to sleep in your car or van, you will need to purchase a Vehicle Camping ticket.

Help on site
Head to the Info Tent in The Village to:
- Ask a question
- Relax in a safe space
- Look at the festival map & event schedule
- Receive medical assistance
- Contact security
- Check lost & found
- Discuss consent
- Charge your phone (limited number of plugs)
There will be a Medic Tent in The Playground for anyone that needs assistance / support / a place to recover.
A care space with our Care Bears can be found in The Village.
Take Care
- Be conscious with your consumption and the effects substances have on your ability to understand and give consent.
- Do not walk outside the festival perimeter. It is there for your safety.
- Drive safe – we have a wide range of alcohol free drinks.
- Your best plan could be to book a coach seat, if coming from Auckland.
Food & Drink
- Please bring a card for payments and a way of carrying your card if you happen to not have pockets.
- Vegetarian and vegan food options will be available.
- Water points are marked on the festival map. Please carry a water bottle to stay hydrated. All water points dispense drinking water.
- You can bring your own food and drink into the festival, including alcohol. But we are really strict on no glass being allowed on site. The festival is licensed and will operate two bars with alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
Travel
Travel to the festival by car, or coach if coming from Auckland.

- There is no public transport from Taumaruni to the festival site which is a 14 minute drive. So if taking public transport to Taumarunui, please arrange for a friend to pick you up on route.
